There are three easy steps to apply. Complete the non-refundable online application fee. Upload a headshot and a full-body image (professional photos not required). Pay the $50 non-refundable Standard Model Application fee open to all ages, genders, and heights. Or pay $75 for GSFW Top Model. Top Model Eligibility: Female, ages18–29 by the date of Fashion Week, minimum height 5’7”.

Entries must be received by 8 p.m. EST on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

To secure an audition, models MUST submit an online application by the deadline. Video submissions will NOT be accepted. Models must meet the age and height requirements (for Top Model only).

No height or size requirements for most shows except Top Model. Top Model: Female, 5’7”+, age 18–29. All tattoos must be fully covered by the model for every GSFW event. Applicants under 18 must have a parent/guardian at auditions to sign a waiver. Height will be checked for Top Model applicants.

Models must bring a 5x7 color headshot, 5x7 full-body photo, and 5x7 swimsuit photo (required for swim or Top Model auditions). Practice your walk and poses. Mandatory audition prep workshops are required for models living within 3 hours of Myrtle Beach.

All applicants will receive an email within one week of their audition to select their Runway Training/Workshop.

Email will include time, location, and registration details. Early registration increases chances of pre-shows and promotions.

Female Models: wear all black fitted clothing, black leggings, black fitted tank or T-shirt, black heels 4 inches or taller (no wedges), natural makeup, no jewelry, and hair pulled away from the face. If auditioning for swim, wear a solid black swimsuit underneath. Male Models: black shoes, black pants, black T-shirt or tank. For swim auditions, headshots first then shirtless audition.

Models must attend one Model Runway Training Workshop. GSFW week is August 26–29, 2026. Required dates include rehearsal on Sunday, August 16 (10 AM–8 PM) and runway shows August 26–29, 2026

GSFW guarantees each model will walk for designers/boutiques during selections. Final show assignments vary.

Top Model applicants are guaranteed at least one walk in the Top Model Contest.

All GSFW shows take place in Myrtle Beach, SC. Pre-shows take place at various Grand Strand locations. Key dates include: application deadline July 4, auditions happening Jan - July, check the website for exact dates and locations. Callback Day July 19, Final Selections August 1, rehearsals August 16, runway shows August 26–29.

Designers, boutiques, sponsors, and GSFW production review all models. Final selections are based on production needs. Models selected for multiple shows MUST attend all fittings and go-sees. Schedules are NOT adjusted for individual availability.

Selection is based on industry criteria by a panel of experts. Top Model contestants must be 5’7”+ and ages 16–24. Twelve finalists will be selected. A separate $75 application is required.

Prize packages valued between $5,000 and $10,000 include professional photoshoots, mentoring, GSFW Brand Ambassador role for 2027, promotional modeling, GSFW merchandise, mentoring with Rise 2 Stardom CEO Cory Dueger, assistance signing with a major agency, and a trip to NYC with private agency auditions.

Models receive a professional training workshop, inclusion in the 2026 GSFW program book, and access to the online photo gallery. No additional compensation is provided.

Models are responsible for the $50 application fee ($75 Top Model fee) and all costs associated with auditions, rehearsals, go-sees, fittings, travel, lodging, meals, and parking.

Models are responsible for all travel and lodging expenses. Hotel partners may offer preferred rates.

Models and parents do NOT receive complimentary GSFW tickets.

Models receive valuable exposure to local and national fashion industry leaders, stylists, and media. They will be featured in the 2026 GSFW program book. Early registrants who attend training may be considered for additional GSFW promotions and seasonal events.
