No modeling experience required. Must be confident, professional, and able to walk a runway. Availability for fittings, rehearsals, and the full Fashion Week schedule is mandatory.

Photo & Audition Appearance Guidelines

Bring printed photos with name, age, and contact info.

Dress Code:
All participants wear all-black attire for a clean, professional look.

Females:

Fitted black top & leggings,
skirt, or shorts
3”+ heels
Hair away from face,
minimal makeup, no jewelry

Males:

Fitted black top and black jeans/slacks/shorts
Dress shoes, neat hair, no jewelry

Understanding the Selection Timeline

Submit Application: Apply as soon as possible to be considered for upcoming GSFW runway opportunities.
Receive Confirmation Email: Follow the instructions in your confirmation email and attach your photo submission for initial selections.
Pre-Audition and Runway Training Workshop Registration: Sign up for the next available Pre-Audition (mandatory for models in SC, NC, and GA). The earlier you register, the more opportunities you will have for pre-GSFW shows, and additional modeling and talent exposure and events.
Attend Training: Enjoy a free “Breaking into the Industry” talent workshop. Optional model photography packages will be available.
Bring Marketable Photos: Bring your most up-to-date photos to your pre-audition and if selected to the final audition. Candid photos are fine, but no older than
Designer Selections: Designers will contact selected talent directly. Please do not contact GSFW regarding selections.
Fittings & Final Rehearsal: Attend your scheduled fittings and the mandatory final rehearsal before showtime.
Showtime: If selected for a show, you must attend and represent your designer and GSFW professionally

Maximize Your Chances with These Professional Tips

Register Early: Spaces are limited by age group. The earlier you register, the more chances you’ll have to participate in pre-shows, GSFW promotions, and modeling opportunities.
Submit Your Application: Include accurate measurements and current photos. Candid photos are accepted as long as they are recent.
Check Your Email: Once you receive your confirmation email, add GSFW’s contact information to your address book so you don’t miss important updates.
Attend Audition and Runway Workshop & Talent Workshop: Sign up for the next available session to prepare for your audition to be involved with pre-shows
Bring Marketable Photos: Bring your most up-to-date photos to your final audition.
Book a Photography Session: Model photography packages are available with GSFW-approved referral photographers. Sessions may take place during your runway training, audition day, or at a later scheduled time.
Be Punctual and Prepared: Arrive on time, bring what you need, and show professionalism throughout the process.
